It means that you need to hand feed it a Pachy egg kibble. this will give it a stat boost. Nothing will happen if you dont.

If you're raising a baby and it wants a kibble you don't have and you can't feed it, does that mean you'll lose all the benefits of cuddling, or will the imprint process allow you to miss a few and still get the benefit?

you lose everything I believe, or it decays over time if you miss a couple in a row

I really like the affinity idea, but I think it could use some work. I don't think you should lose all of the affinity gained just because you miss one.
