there is no good reason to go in the water as things stand right now, you're as good as dead without a very fast ichthy mount
Agreed there is very little point in taming any thing sea based other than the larger marine creatures or my personly favorite the Sarco love that thing even against mantas as you can simply beach when they come at you.
i had a megaldon lvl 100 it lost to a lvl 29 manta so yes!!! They are op. And thier spawn rate are to fast, and they atack in grups most of the time, i lost 5 megaldons today to mantas spawn. I had them in a lake that led to the ocen, were i was keeping them the soundly a while grup of mantas spawned. Bye bye Megaldon`s in all i lost 12 megaldons to Mantas over they past days, my point is that they should buff Megaldons. I fell like they the clown of the sea now the only sea creature i fear now is mantas... i dont even feel like taming them any more
I'm not sure how the mosa's bite range is (because they're not spawning on Center) but it's seems like the ocean is plesi/mosa or GTFO unless you're just running away from everything with an ichy. Megas are completely crap only doing around 130 damage per bite where plesis can easily get over 300
Force feeding is pretty much useless there too unless you stick 1000 raw meat on your tame before you leave because a stack of fish only heals 30 hp when a stack of normal raw gives 100 hp.
Then once you've figured all that out, you have to deal with the stupid derpy, overly tanky anglers when you get down there. THEN if you dodge all that and you're looking for crates you have to watch out for those tiny ass lobsters.
