Re-Fertilizer - Does it work?
So lately i've been testing the Re-Fertilizer by cutting down tress and basically ruining everything around me; Taking all the resources etc.
Then i took all the Re-Fertilizer i had, and just spammed it everywhere, where the rocks and tress have been, and only got bushes from it, is it a overtime thing or? If so, where can i read more about it? (I read through the wiki, not much i didnt know there though)

Basically, you have to get lucky with it. I wish there was a green ghosting of the resources it will respawn when you use it, like when building structures. It would allow me to see where the trees and rocks were and not waste tens of refertilizers trying to find a single tree to regrow

All it does is restore that 1 rock or tree you cut down while building your base and won't grow back. It's useless.

Damn.. Oh well ^.^

yup the thing is the AoE Area of Effect is very small on it.. you have to use like 100 re fertilizer to make everything grow back.... and you need to remember where the trees where etc.. i tried that around a pen once... oh well. i waste like 4.. hoping it would make something nice.. got like a small tree and a few bushes... USELESS

i hope too it would make appear in green what would come back just like when you build stuff. that way you would know youre NOT WASTING it on nothing.... i never seen anything that useless...
maybe except THE OP CHAIR
i still have to understand why people think a chair is OP
i just find that funny..
It works great.

There is a timer on when it will restore the area. It does restore the area exactly how it was. I used it repeatedly on a quest area where people destroyed all the resources searching for items - after a day I would go back refert and the entire place looked exactly the same.

I used it quite often. I am not sure what the timer is for when its best to reuse it but I wait a full 24hrs and I get full restoration: boulders, tree's, bushes, et al.

it isnt just one . If your near the right area you can get multiple items reappearing

It is useless. Regrow 1 tree or 1 big rock... In the place where 3-4 rocks and 4-6 trees were in 2 square meters...

It could be useful, if it cost less and did a lot larger area. The devs should really look into making it actually worth using.

Once you cut down a tree, remove a rock , etc, its 1 hour before you can use the regrowth fertilizer.. It will cover a small AOE when you use it.

But I have noticed that you need to hit a spawn spot to get some things to come back..

What? Quest area? If you were nowherenear foundations then they likely spawned back naturally.

Been trying to use refert myself and having no luck with it. Admittedly ihaven't gone ham and carpet bombed the area with a bunch of it yet, but no luck so far.

Hi, this post is two months old.

Thanks, I prefer not to open new topics on a subject that still doesn't appear to be working as intended. Though I do appreciate your lack of input on the matter.

Refertilizer is NOT supposed to bring dead threads back to life. Might want to have the devs look into nerfing this. :steammocking:

Wait a second, i tried the refertiizer and i think i understand how it works; its only use is to grow back resources that are blocked by structures. The trick is that you need to wait for them to "respawn"(if they were not blocked), then you can get those trees and rocks back, ideal for restoring those trees and big rocks to hide your base, or to have a little garden i guess

i dont think that some players know that u get trees from bushes
(that means u need to wait)
