I dont know if this is related, but I had something similar happen pre patch. Had a megladon not eating and almost died. Had plenty of food in the troughs but it turned out it was within range of another trough I had set for some herbivores that I never put meat in. It was appearently confused on which one to eat from. Moved the herbivore trough and he began eating again.

thx for reply.
also have 2 troughs nearby, but both full of meat and berries, and i think they had some meat on them too. dont think they starved, cause i check them before for eggs and there was nothing anormaly

Did you just tame it? Or bring it through a river or part of the swamp?

I tamed two last night, was bringing them back and leeches got attached to them. Luckily I figured out how to deal with the leeches.
