Do any dinos collect leech blood?

And if so which is the best for it

Out of 3 leeches, I got 1 blood on a bear. Haven't tried any others. We're infected and staying away from base.

your dinos cant get infected unless a leach gets on them, so no reason if you dont have any other tribe members there

Can I kill the infected leaches with a mount without getting infected by it? Otherwise I´ll avoid the swamps even more.. The massive overspawn on the The Center Swamps is anoying enough, even without the leaches.
You can´t make a single step without being swarmed by 6 snakes, dozens of dragonflies and so on.. ^^

I get blood from leeches using frogs. I'm on a 5x gather server and got 5 units of blood from 3 leeches.

I like getting swarmed in the swamp. I don't mind that.

Are the leaches able to infect the frog while you fight them?

Infected (slightly red) leeches must attach to infect you or the frog. I'd wager if you manage to keep enough distance, you're ok.

Yeah, the Beelzebufo, and to a lesser extent the Arthropleura, are probably the best creatures for harvesting the Leech for blood, simply due to their ranged capabilities.

I've been using a wolf. Ja he got infected in the process but I find I'm getting more blood using him than from any other dinos.

i used a giga and it was mixed. i ended up just killing them with the giga then jumping off and using an axe on the leech corpses -- it seemed to get more than with the dino.

And Giga is your safest bet when moving around swamp , leech won't attack Giga , but you should attack in case a leech is around .

giga do get leech on them i started using my bear and get about 3 per infected leech but on one of them i did get 9
