Rhino Horns
Has anyone else experienced the lack of horns since the patch? We used to get a horn on just about every kill. I have killed over 100 Rhinos and not a SINGLE horn dropped. They went from abundant and useless to rare and needed. I can understand them not dropping every single time, but to make such a devestating disease that can wipe out your entire tamed population and make one of the once common ingredients nearly impossible to get just makes no sense.

Dont worry the basic cure now requires narcrotics instead of horns.

Why should it be any different in this game than in real life. Some cultures believe in the Manly Stamina power of Rhino Horns. So im guessing those cultures ran around cutting all the horns off the Rhinos, seeing that even Wildcard confirmed that Rhino horns heal certain "Diseases" :steamfacepalm:

No matter if cure dont need it - Broth for Arthopluera still need horns. If there will be no horn, taming with spoil meat will be nightmare...
Maybe there was some change in path that you need to unmount and acces death rhino inventory to take horn??

Do you have to hit the dead rhino with a pickaxe or hatchett? Also, you don't need them anymore.

Check their inventories when dead.

They didn't mention anything about going in the rhino's inventory to get the horn from what I could see. But that doesn't matter for antidotes now.

aah that part, thought you meant the narc change.
Honestly no idea if it was the same before patch or not, never really bothered with them.
A bit like when you kill alphas on a quetz, sometimes you get the loot on bird, other times not.
Never really figured out a system in that one.

Almost bever gotten horns from just killing them, had to dismount and check their inventory.
In some rare occasions when spinning with pteradon you end up getting the horn.
(This was also true before this patch)
Just enable victim item collection on your animal and it auto collect the horn when the rhino dies you dont even need to eat the rhino.
