BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier
Guys, i really need your help here. So we have, for example, baby mature interval 15.0, so if we want make "take care:" (cuddle) interval the same, how should i edit BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier value - 15.0 or 0.15? Or something. Infact i just need to know : higher values increase or decrease cuddle timer? I tested it by editing it both ways, but timer didnt change at all - 3 hours at all values (O_o)

Its an interval, so if you increase the number then that will increase the time between intervals. So if you lower the value instead then you'll decrease the time between intervals.

^ i can confirm that since ive changed it for my server lol

Same here, "1.0" was telling me 3 and half hours,i changed it to 5
0.01 and 50.0 bit haven't notice any difference.
I wanna reduce them as i play SP. My maturing times are faster, so the default intervals are longer then the time it tales to have an adult dino:-)

Guys, i figured it out. This apply only on newbonr babies, not on existing ones. So if you have juvenille lystro it will always 3 hours, no matter how you will change, but NEXT one will get timer with modifier. So i tryed 50.0 (to see difference) and my newborn dodo get cuddle timer 7 days lol. So i changed it on 0.1 and another newborn dodo get cuddle timer 20-25 mins. I also tested it on other dinos like raptors and even quetz babies - timers the same, 20-25 mins. Good luck!

The Spino probably hatched before the patch, but then I made an Anky to see if it was the case, they are both havingvthe same intervals.
Ah,I play SP,the timer restarts if i log off and on again.

We also play some kind of sp - me and my girlfriend, no other peoples, just non-dedicated multyplayer sessions, so for us this works O_o But, maybe, its true - relog and reset timer. Try to set interval at 0.1 - in this case they will require cuddle every 25 mins and reset wont be that bad stuff as it would be at 3 hour timer

The opposite of 2 times is a half, i.e 0.5 not 0.2. So for 15.0 the equivalent is 1/15 = 0.0667

I do not think changing existing timer values will affect creatures that already have a cuddle timer. Changing the values will only affect new babies born after the value was changed. So, if you were checking the timers on the same baby, you will not see it change. Same goes for mating timers.

The timer affect the % . Faster the cuddle is, lower the % will be...... and more often you will have to do it to get 100%

A bit of testing and these times are not 100% accurate as I was watching the screen and sometimes the overlay for imprinting on the Dilo would cover the timer. I'm sure someone can decipher this with a spreadsheet and come much closer.
Using http://ark.crumplecorn.com/breeding/ for the maturation time - I actually had 1 second almost 2 seconds longer on my stopwatch and that very well could have been a reaction time.

Dino: Dilo
Maturation Rate: x325
Hatch Rate: x90
Maturation Time: 3:53 M:SS
BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier: 0.0156 = 96%

The different settings I tested below
  • 1.0=3 HR 39 MIN
  • 0.7=2 HR 24 MIN
  • 0.5=1 HR 53 MIN 15 SEC
  • 0.3=58 MIN 55 SEC
  • 0.1=22 MIN 27 SEC
  • 0.08=14 MIN 58 SEC
  • 0.06=14 MIN 09 SEC
  • 0.04=7 MIN 44 SEC
  • 0.02=4 MIN 42 SEC
  • 0.01=1 MIN 52 SEC
  • 0.0156=3 MIN 30 SEC

If the timer is changed, existing babies will begin to use the new timer as soon as their current interval ends.

No problem. I just wanted to clarify the minor detail about existing babies in case anyone found this thread like I did.
