How do we get Ark to look like this?

can't really tell . No offence , but can you take one from a closer look say of bushes and some trees?

It looks nothing like the redwoods biome lol. Far off.

Think as others have pointed out, the screenshot i posted is edited/adopted the colours are off, there is more vibrance to everything and the textures aren't that sharp in game but this is for the new biome so will have to wait till the update to find out for sure i guess...... I'll definitely be using the picture as a reference

To me it does because that screenshot is unbelievable to me..... so say it looks good doesn't do it justice and I want mine to look like that... So impressive... even its just for taking screenshots and not playable.....

well the plant look real I give you that , amazing even . But the tree , I don't think real tree can have that kind of color . Unless it is worked wood....

If you do -d3d10 -sm4 in your game startup it will look like garbage. I have an I7 16GB SSD GTX980. I average between 34-45fps depending on location. But yes it does look like this for me.

You don't need a 980 to get great visuals.

16GB, FX 8320, GTX 750Ti 2GB - And my ark is beautiful and my profile has over 4,500 screen shots of just Ark to prove it.

So, this is what Ark looks like at all Epic settings, sliders all the way to the right, all check boxes ticked (except film grain) and resolution at 3840 x 2160. Only startup option being used is -USALLAVAILABLECORES:

Agreed... Also the lighting too... very different in-game to the one Jen posted... it does go to show just how good ARK really could look if they allow it too.... I just hope they will..
