Suggestions for overseer fight?
Im starting to prepare for the tek cave/overseer and would like to know what dinos I should use and what I should expect from the cave. And if you could tell me the kind of stats I should have for the dinos for the alpha overseer that would be nice.

If you feel like it and have a good shotty you can just glide down to the overseer fight and use tek jetpack to kill it with a shotgun.
If not make sure to bring a dino that will not get scared by a yuty
And your dinos need to be beefy to survive both the cave and the fight
Also carefull on alpha as there will be wild gigas on the way down.
And carefull with the heat , it's SUPER hot down there and then cold in the overseer fight

When I did it I used 1-2 yutty, rest Tex Rexs.

Even if your doing the gamma tek cave (I do see your saying alpha, even still), I highly reccomend doing the alpha broodmother fight (If you can manage it) for the Tek helmet. This helmet can show you where dinos are hidden, such as purlovia. Its very nice.

Theres a lot of things in tek cave to screw you if you dismount. Such as the croc that jumps at you, kap. And if it dismounts you, or you dismount and it hits you, you may rocket with it into lava or into a wild pack of dinos.

Yutty can roar most of the dinos in the game, straight into lava death. So you'll want something to deal with them, such as rexes. Not even therizino are roar immune.

Its a bad idea to have too many dinos following you at once, or on too big a chain, unless time is a big priority, Its usually safer to move small groups at a time, so if something happens you'll only lose so many dinos. Some dinos like rex's have awful turn radius, and can easily walk right off into lava if you don't whistle to stop them.

Personally When tek door opened I was unable to get all my rex's inside before the time ran out. So the next time I try tek cave I may bring a few small/medium tames that are easy to get in last minute. Basically to fill in any slots in the boss fight last minute if I've lost too many rex's.

If you have a tek helmet, you may be able to see places its safe to dismount and shoot nautilis bile shots into wild dino groups to get them fighting each other. A climbing dino you can shoot a gun off may enable you to easily lure the giga into lava.

TEk cave is a lot like cave of the strong A huge, huge pain. But with lava death.

Also be ready to survive extreme heat and extreme cold.

If you want you can go in first with a couple rexes to clear the yutty's up (If you don't wanna deal with a rex army). Then use creatures like allosaurs, therizinos, etc once the roar threat is removed.

Oh and a good note , your own yuty can negate the wild one's roar
