This. Once they start to respawn, you’ll start seeing the new colors. I use a mod for colors, some really cool color combos.
If you have correctly put in the event code in the correct place for it and have done the destroywilddinos command correctly the map should have repopulated with colored dinos from the event.
So if you're not seeing it, you've either not put the event launch code in correctly or not done the dino wiping correctly.
If it has a holiday tab/button, with stuff like swimsuits and things you have the event active. If its not there you don't have the event active.
Check this first before looking for wild dinos.
Use a mod, you get a lot more colors than an event will give you.
