Player Resistance Stat Question

So I'm playing singleplayer with higher level dinos (over lvl 1000) and most dinos 1 tap my armor. If I increase the player resistance, will that also affect my armor, so it'll actually become useful and not break in 1 hit?

I suggest upgrade station mod and higher durability armor.

Why play with creatures so high?

It will only lower the damage you take but they might still 1 shot your armor if their melee is too high.

yeah player resistance =/= item durability. i guess you can tweak that second one but i guess the easiest way would still be to look for or make a mod with ultra resistant stuff.

or you could decrease wild dinos damages, but i would affect general difficulty and mostly boss battles.
