How does one contact the administrator of an unofficial server?
I am not sure whether the server is just down or the administrator is gone.

Does the server have a Web page? Teamspeak? Etc etc, beyond that there's nothing you can do.... most good server admins have some kind of voice chat, or a steam name you can friend and chat with....I wish you luck.

You act like that cant happen on an official server wtf man? lol Best bet is to just do some research and look at servers with long clean records or active admins you can talk to. I've been playing on Unoficials for ages. Never once lost my stuff unless the admin discussed it with us first. New map or a clean start for everyone if we so chose.

I am somewhat new to Ark. Maybe I just don't know where to look. Actually, I favorited the unofficial after experiencing high level tribe bullying of newly spawned level char. on an official. Survival is one thing, not even getting into a game after paying for it is another. Lots of problems seem to plague this game technically and socially. When this game first appeared, it had the reputation of being over-run with raiders and griefers. I waited thinking that later developers would resolve these issues. I made the mistake of assuming that since we were now being charged that it was completed. I should have paid attention to the information that it is still essentially a beta. If dominance by force is considered winning, why is our whole planet and species now at risk?

Yeah sadly the offical servers are a disaster. Sadly that is due to the maturity level of those that play there. It is proof of what would happen if there was no more law in the world.

I understand your fusturation with the bullying been there myself. I honestly think WC is at a loss and just building the game how they see it should be. How the game mechanics are used is not something they can control. Perhaps they just choose not to try to. There are good servers out there. There are great people running them. There are also people out there that think if they can rule the world in Ark they have achieved something great.

I have a server if you are interested. I have had a running server from almost day one. Populating the server is very hard. I do my best to accomadate people but most get bored with out some PVP threat. PM me if you are interested. Also my server seems to be BUG free. I have wiped many times in the past but NOT when others are actively playing the game. If it is a ghost town then I run it for me.

I don't know for sure, but I think you're right. The worst rub is newly spawned players spending time on worlds which have been highly settled already at the new player spawn sites and there is no invite to join established settlements which are steadily expanding onto the Ark spawn points for new players where the spawn is spending time getting a survival base and isn't high enough to survive the environment to even get to a less populated area to start the game on that particular server. New players don't necessarily know by the number indicated about how many people are on a particular server where those people have settled. There needs to be a wider distance of where new players spawn and routes that could be discovered which would be safe enough to traverse to bump into another tribe but distance enough for established players to expand and also new players to grow without having to leave the server and losing all the time they spent building a basic survival base because they have to find a server where the longst playing people haven't used up 90% of the land around the new player spawn sites. Survival conflict amongst the humans would become more balanced and probably more fun for competitive players instead of for example 40 players killing a lone low level because they want to expand into one of the few small patches left in the same area.

I would like to know how to get in touch with my server admin to give that person a chance, but I don't know where to go to see a contact for him. Also if I find out he's not going to keep the server, how do I get in touch with you. Details would help since I'm not experienced here. Thanks for your input and sorry for the long comment
