autoturret high range , how far can they shoot , how many ceilings/foundations long?

curious? trying to build something big, and want to make an equal gap without holes, but also dont want to build too many turrets.

how many ceilings wide? and what if i build them on a ramp (next to it) do i have to count 1 wall down / 1 ceiling wide like 2 foundations?

1 turret on 1 target is not fast enough and they can escape. So put one every 2 foundations appart and every 2 walls appart (4 turrets for a 2x2 wall) on the outer ring. That way, people that fly by with a quetz will QQ. I believe they shoot 12 foundations away. But it's from memory of an old video, so it might not be accurate.

thx i'll keep that in mind with the "more than 1 turret".

thx, that helps do u know tho, if 1 ramp or 1 sloped roof down, counts as 1 foundation or 2 ?

a ramp is not a full foundation as its placed at a angle, if it was flat then it would be, however the turrets probably count it as a full foundation because it will clip under the ground in effect

after looking at them im going to say they would class as 1 full foundation mate
