anyone have functional pve snake trap?
built one based off nublets(youtuber) video with doorways at the botem and windows 4 high wals.

Steps:
Since you cannot pickup snakes. I just lead (lure) them into the trap, up a ramp on one side
Having a bit of trouble getting them to de-agro tho "suggestions appreciated"
Fly away out of render range for a few min, and fly back.

Problems:
Getting the snakes to de-agro off the stone walls even tho they cannot damage them...
When returning to render range I've been lucky to get 1 egg with 15-20 snakes in the pit.
I've tryed killing and clearing a large area around the swamp based pit to reduce non-trapped snake eggs to no effect.

Suggestions? Success stories?

How often do you visit, in other words how many eggs do you get a day on average? Im also on PVE but as i could not pick the snakes up I did not bother with a trap, but perhaps if you get a constant supply of eggs even if only one a day it may be worthwhile.

To my knowledge, argents can pick snakes up.

On pve you can't pick wild dinos up, and since snakes can't be tamed they can not be picked up by quetzals, argent etc.

We will be able to tame boas soon, they announced its coming with Fear Evolved 2. Cant wait!

i got a total of 3 out of my trap but it took 45 min to lure a bunch into it, and i made about 10 trips in and out to check it, just the one time.

Thank goodness they will be tameable now, and this dosent matter anymore
