water vein
So, can we place pipes from the water vein?

"It is possible to snap stone and metal Irrigation Pipes to the well to create an Irrigation system and water your plants. Both straight and vertical pipes can snap to the well. However, on Official servers no structures, including pipes, may be built on or surrounding a Water Vein except the Water Well."

ok,ty.i play on unoficial server, i can put the well but i cant put the pipes.

wouldnt do you any good....the water use can still empty the well. tribes mates on our unofficial tried to do that and built an industrial cooker which sucked the well dry

On unofficial I'm pretty sure it's a setting the admin can turn on or off.

in the gameusersettings.ini
make sure
EnableExtraStructurePreventionVolumes=False

if this is set to true, the well is classed as protected and can not have any pipes or nearby structures.

Is the server PVP or PVE?
