Heat stroke emblem starts white and gets redder the worse your heatstroke is. It is caused unsurpisingly by being 'hot' or 'overheated' for too long. Press 'H' in game to tell you how bad your heatstroke is as a percentage. When bad enough it begins to have effect on your vision and movement. It won't actually kill you - the heat will do that, but it does make life tougher. To make it go away get cool (inside adobe, underground, sometimes underwater, desert armour).

Oh yeah....forgot that....20 points is good, 30 points and the heat really becomes a thing of the past except in the worst locations....

I meant like the actual icon itself. I know H and the percentage. Like it's a body with some stretched out eye

In pve I found putting any points in fort was a waste later in game. Heat is very easy to maintain when you get use to the game. Plus, the ghillie Armour gives better heat resistance and you can get higher grade ghillie in desert loot crates. I'm running around with 400 armor points and about 300 hyper
