Scorched Earth - Tree Tap Sap (Dosent work on this map?)
Hey guys, ive been all over the island and i cant find any tree which i can attach the tree tap sap to. Is it just me or am i not looking hard enought. Appreciate if anyone could advise on possible locations or is this just not functional on scorched earth map.

There are big trees that gives you sap if you use a pickaxe on them... so I never made one...

Joshua trees give sap. look up joshua tree on google and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Fishing. You get a lot of absorbant substrate from fishing... and other stuff too.

Its mostly for the fun factor and the know that it actually works or if such a tree exists in SE. And of cause... i need more bait for fishing ;p

Bim, I win. Fishing is too rewarding. Way too much. I used to spend time harvesting... Now I spend at least an hour fishing...

Get sap from chopping down joshua trees with an axe or a chainsaw works best, the platform trees that give sap I don't think exist in SE but I could be wrong, I haven't scouted it 'fully' yet.

Fishing in SE is one of the best sources for prime if you don't have an argi or rex.

No, there are no Redwoods on Scorched Earth.

Thanks guys. Looking at the responces, i think i could safely deduce that there are no giant trees tap sap-able. Thanks! Glad im really not blind :D thou also thanks alot on the tips for the Joshua trees!

For those that don't know why it is good... Prime Fish tames faster then just Raw Meat. Prime Fish also leasts longer with salt so you can carry more at once.

Problem with Prime Meat is that is spoils in like 3 minutes with salt and you can only really give the pet 1 Prime Meat before the others spoil (really hard to fast\strave tame if your meat spoils before you even get back to it). So yes Sap + Fishing = Prime Fish + Faster Taming.
