Tapejara taming technique??

sneaky way on ground dont work they run away i tried tame it in air impossible they fly to fast so i dont know there is hardly good way to tame one,and high lvl one got high torpor not like ptera one shot in head and zZz

Maybe if you mtry to catch them whit the bola before and when they are on the ground you can knock them out Well it's just and idea worth to try

If you have a quetz with a plattform saddle, you can build a cage with thatch door frames and thatch ceilings. As long as you are riding the quetz, other fliers can glitch through the door frames. Then you just have to dismount at the right time and the tapejara will be trapped.

I couldnt get the bola to work while hanging from an argent but if that works thats the way. Just bola it and go down and knock it out. And yeah they are tricky. After you have one though its pretty easy to tame another with a rider knocking it out.

chase it near a mountain if it is close to ground and not being chased it will land, then you land and bola from out of its aggro range

I tamed it while my tribe mate carried me with a ptera, first it was indeed impossible. But when it flew against the border it was kinda stuk. My tribe made was making sure he stayed on the same spot and I could shout!

But what you can better do:
Bola him, place fast a piller next to it with walls down from it so its captured and you can just shoot :).

i tamed a 116 3 days ago.. 1 bola 3 darts to the head jm rifle 167dmg gg easy... only problem is the T.E. only got 45 levels on a perfect 116 tame.. not worth...
and knocked it when landed... so it was super easy.. official sv

I chase them around the volcano and they often will fly into it and get stuck, pretty easy
