Ark offical support is shocking...

7 days ago i put up a ticket about my skins not spawning in with me on single player/local host and nothing..... i get they have a high ticket volume but still just any sort of response would be nice... even if its just a we have received your ticket sort of thing....

Back when I sent tickets a year ago there were a few emails you could send to. One was dead - never got a reply after months. The other was instant nearly, even had a guy add me on steam. And it was for my character model resetting the first time, the second was a hive of hackers. Devs replied quick for me - try other emails. One was actually listed as official at the time and was never used - hopefully they changed that. I dont know the emails just saying to do a bit more looking into - and also the population has grown but seven days is a bit long.

What do you expect them to do?

Support only has admin abilities on official servers, not local/SP/dedicated/privater servers.

Look up the codes and spawn the stuff in yourself.


Problem is people filling a support ticket for every little thing, instead of just playing the game, and it takes more and more time for them to wade through them. They review the tickets in the order that they are received.

So, tickets for hackers, exploiters, and harrassment have to wait until they get through the I lost my favorite dodo, where is my kibble, I want my skins, etc., type tickets.

You still get skins ocasionally but its not a 100% chance. Sometimes you need to die up to 5-10 times before you will see them in your inventory.

What the ticket systems are mainly used for are multiplayer servers where the devs need to go a specific offical server and use their admin abilitys to fix problems the players may get. At most what they could do to resolve your issue is give you a spawn command for the skins if you wanted them.

Hunter Hat= cheat giveitemnum 281 1 0 0
Parasaur saddle skin = cheat giveitemnum 293 1 0 0
Dino glasses skin = cheat giveitemnum 308 1 0 0


Scortched earth skins you can use even if you dont have dlc... (all se items are spawnable)

Safari hat

Am sorry... what if i dont want to use the cheat codes...... AND its clearly a bug the single/local host still falls under thier base game responsibilities its not like its on a unoffical server, its still in their ball court.

i dont want to spawn them in...... i dont want to get a mod where i cam make them for 1 fiber..... its still a bug its still not supposed to do it, and it still need to be reported and somthing done.

1) How are they cheats if they're an ingame function and don't provide an unfair advantage, and in fact are used to deal with bugs?

2) Why do you need a reply to this? File a bug report and be on your way.

There are a fair few people currently on the verge of losing everything because they lost a character and support response times are currently so long the timer may run out before they can be helped.
How arrogant can you be to come here and throw a tantrum these people aren't made to wait even longer so they can indulge in your inability to deal with reality, especially when you have the bleeping tools to actually sort the problem out yourself.

ok go on a server throw up the console and type away spawn ♥♥♥♥ it OH wait you cant... thats how they are cheats and i dont want to do it on my solo/local host IT STILL A BUG and yes i have filed a report but again i get nothing saying they have even seen it.

If you want to report bugs then do it in the section made for it, and then they will eventually look into it.

Stop making tickets for petty stuff. It puts a stopper for acting on REAL problems.

Stop spoutting BS, the skin doesn't work is usually from mods you installed. If you say you don't have the skin and you don't have any mods, then go on a private server or official. If you have them on a server this means it's your fault, if you don't have them it means it is your fault for having bad luck.
