Can't throw shoulder pet off (Scorched Earth)

I have a jerboa and I cant throw it off my shoulder? Friend has a vulture and same issue. Double tapping E or hitting X while on a mount seems to have no effect. Any way to get it off without logging out?

i had a problem on the center still do sometimes where i have to lay down then double tap to get them off my shoulder... is annoying but it might help

Probbably because when you run from a trex to ride on your trike and you spam E to get on and you accidenly chuck your mount off your shoulder and it dies

They changed the bind, now it's whatever you have set to open a remote inventory.

I heard E and X as well when I first got a shoulder mount but.. turns out it's double tap F.. works for me anyway.
