10 hits with cannon
DOn't tame a level 116 dude... U will regret it lol. Will take days to tame. A level 8 takes seven hours...
Editing: source of this is i am currently taming a 108
he may be on an unofficial server with decent rates
Some tips:
-You will die doing this. A lot. I reccomend you add another metal foundation close to but out of the way of the golem's rock-throwing action, and place a few beds down on it.
-How will you die? Probably by attempting to load the cannon for your next shot. The golem will throw a rock at you and probably kill you instantly. Try to get the timing down, and know when to back off from the cannon. Try to begin the reloading process directly after a dodged rock throw.
-Try to get the high ground. It makes it a lot easier to aim the cannonballs, and makes it harder for the golem to reach you.
-Have supplies on hand in a storage container, and bring plenty of cannonballs. Carry most of the cannonballs with you, but put the taming food in a storage container on the same foundation as your beds.
-Be prepared for a long tame. If you're afraid of getting attacked by wild dinos or other players, maybe even set up a minigun turret to protect your tame. Minigun turrets use no power, and do a heck of a lot of damage.
