Homing Rockets a Big Joke

So, you add dragons and homing rockets, then EVERYTHING but ARGENTS outrun them(the rockets) and the rockets run out of gas and explode mid air?THE WHOLE SERVER HEARS WHEN YOUR LOCKING ON... ITS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to lock on to a moving target.

Why even add them? elemental breathing dragons with no counter unless they are close enough to breath on you? even then all they have to do is fly away to not get hit.... wtf is the point?

did i mention you can't lock on to something while being carried by anything (although i havn't tried the new multi seat flyer).


Please tell me whats the point of crafting a more expensive "homing" rocket if they move slower then almost all the flyers and everyone can here you attempting to lock on.

to kill non player controled?? to hunt Alpha drakes? i dont know there is an other option then pvp only.

The point i was making, is it is an option it dosent mean its the brightest thing to do.

If they made it so the missles always hit there target cuss there more expensive the older non tracking ones would no longer be crafted or used. Not to mention your just going to see a larger hp pool on raiding flyers.

also your as much of a target when your standing there trying to lock on. to a sniper durring a raid so its point in pvp is kinda mute to begin with..

when your dealing with players you have to know there gunna react in away to conter you. no one in there right mind is gunna sit there and take getting shot at.

they just need to add a better mobile deffence againced air attacks maybe a turret that can be moved, on dino back. Trike with AA Gun kinda thing.

Just feels worthless to me is all. Felt like the whole point was to defend your base vs flyers (they are more expensive to craft). But if flyers simply fly away and hear that your trying to lock on then i personally don't even see the point of their existance.

we already have ways to defend the bases the update to turret tracking already helps wounders there i bileaave. the tracking rockets are even more of a deturrent though them being expensive the target player dose have to back off or risk the rocket hitting them.

Let's be honest though, if the homing rockets were actually good for PvP then you'd have 50,000 threads of people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about how unfair it is.

Im not saying these things should be god like im just saying they are worthless as is. Even if they can be outran by most the pvp flyers there is NO REASON that the WHOLE SERVER should hear you locking on to a target. Take away the damn sound from everyone but the person holding the launcher. Then you could at least fire the rocket without everyone knowing its coming.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE DLC TO CRAFT THE ITEMS ADDED BY THE DLC, THE DLC IS ONLY THE MAP.

im just confused how we can make sophisticated computer chips and sensors using sticks and rocks. U need a clean room for that ♥♥♥♥.

sure glad i play a primitive style server. Homing rockets really dont fit the atmosphere of this game. what we need is a net launcher.

or give the dinos some personality. Not just KILL KILL KILL. oh ♥♥♥♥ im hurt, RUN RUN RUN. ok im good again, KILL KILL KILL. Something like monster hunter where u injure the dino and they react a cretin way.

You know. Just a few days ago I was trying to convince someone that Homing Rockets were not terribly unbalanced Pay 2 Win stuff n' things... I hear opinions all across the board from this feature is unbalanced to this feature is useless. It seems there is simply no consensus...
