Ark Wyvern Maturation Rates
I just recently went on the hunt for a Wyvern egg and found a lightning egg in a nest deep in the Wyvern chasm. After a long time of waiting I finally decided to go for it, and it was a success. However, I didn't stop to look at the egg level because this was my first time stealing a Wyvern egg and I was terrified and ran across the map. Only when I got back to my base did I look at the level and BOTH PARENTS ARE LVL 148 WTF. So now I am stuck with an egg that will take a lifetime to mature after it hatches and it's going to take a truckload of milk, and since I'm on single player...I'm screwed. So does anyone know how to increase the rate of maturation on a single player server? Thx in advance

I didnt think levels mattered on mature speed/rate. Be happy you got a high level one.

if you want to increase it, add these to you game.ini, it will make it 4x faster

EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=4.0
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=4.0

A L4 Wyvern will take the same time to mature as a L180 Wyvern..
Be glad it was not L4

And if you're completely desperate to feed the wyvern, you can summon in Wyvern Milk since it's a singleplayer game

Build an outpost next to the chasm, lure female wyverns over, then use chain bolas and gas grenades to put them under.

I have no idea if this will work, but I really want to see someone try.

I thought gas grenades only work on players?
We just make a pen and they get stuck and use normal trak arrows and they are down.

I created a 10 by 10 stone box to lure female wyverns into and trap them so that I can tranq them easily and get milk. I made the walls out of doorframes so I can shoot through them and wired the behemoth gate I lure the wyvern into to a keypad so I can land outside and close it behind them. I used one of the new giant ceiling hatchs as my exit point and fly through there with an argy so that I can get out of the box but the wyvern can't. It works well but you have to be careful to not get hit by the wyverns breath attack. Focus on poison and fire wyverns to tranq. Poisons are the easiest and least deadly I find.

Truly sorry I'm not a very tech savvy person( add these to you game.ini)?

to get to the game.ini:

Go to your main disk (Local Disk C is common) > Program Files (86) > Steam > Steamapps > common > ARK > ShooterGame > Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor > Game

open up the one called Game. It should be blank if you've never edited it before

then you can paste that in, and put the nubmers at whatever you like (higher means they'll mature faster)

Level of parents and baby doesn't affect maturation speed.
Lvl1 and lvl300 baby will mature at same speed.

alright I thought it was like a tame, the higher the level the longer it takes but if not that's awesome

However, its better and also easier to get higher level eggs. Since the higher levelled babies have a higher food stat, they need to be fed less often. They can be left for a few hours at a time before needing milk.

How much milk do you think a Wyvern would need on normal rates

higher lv = easier to raise not harder, it has more food to burn between feeds
