Angler gel on scorched earth

dang, having a hard time finding them lately. Do they drop black pearls? Any idea on sap?

deathworms? this must be something they've added with 247, killed boat loads of deathworms and have never seen angler gel. edit: deathworms seem to drop black pearls, leech blood, organic poly and deathworm horns.

as to sap you get it from trees in SE.

They do drop black pearls occasionally and leach blood. As for sap you can harvest that from the trees that look like they have spikey bark.

Deathworms and fishing. Not super easy, but then getting it from anglers wasn't a walk in the park either.

Best way for now is craft a chair & fishing rod and find a nice cosy spot under one of the obelisks. It's random but after a while you should get some and plenty more blueprints and goodies.

Dev said deathworms have it. A few replies later, he admitted he'd made a mistake. Deathworms do NOT carry the gel.

If you are playing on an unofficial server, convince your server owner/admin to add a custom drop config. I run the ScorchedPVP server and have my drop custom drop config posted on the server's steamgroup. It alters beacons/caves/desert drops in SE so that they include vanilla ark items as well as SE items, balanced quality, and basically makes drops worth your time. In relation to this discussion, angler gel drops as a resource from yellow beacons and as ammo for prods in yellow/red drops/caves.

I killed 2 deathworms and I had 60 anglergel in the end.

atleast theres a 0% chance of a spino ruining the fishing trip on that map

Considering a dev confirmed no angler gel on worms, you got pics? Or was it patched in?

I saw where the dev said it was a mistake but I don't think it is cuz I been getting gel all morning from them.

Well if that's the case, I stand corrected. Thanks for the info. Are you also getting about 30 per? Or are those spikes and the gel from four worms?

Sorry, I haven't killed one yet.
