Alpha deathworm locations?
So I know there are alpha deathworms in the manticore arena, but do they spawn anywhere else in the desert?

I don't think there are Alpha Deathworms in the Manticore Arena.

All deathworms and alpha death worms that I have found have all been far north. 2 by the blue beacon and 3 way off the map as far north east as you can go

deathworms show up when you stay in the desert for a certain amount of time. Alpha deathowrms are a chance of the ones that show up while you are in the desert. They can be found anywhere on the map.

I have found deathworms all along the world barrier, ziggzaggy as it is, and the alpha deathworm i found was basically central north at the barrier.

I'm finding lots of regular ones but no alphas. How much stronger is the alpha from the standard worms?

You'll probably need at least 50k HP and 500% melee damage to survive, if you're using a Wyv.

Alpha death worms are usually in northern desert and NW desert and somewhat western desert.

We have killed 3. Second time we tried to find one, we went back to the location that we found our first but there wasnt one their. But soon found one further to the west.

PS: we use Argies, we just fly / scoot over the ground till one pops up, have no trouble killing a death worm, just attack the top of their head or their back and dont get under their mouth part :D

If you're using a Lightning Wyvern, you shouldn't even be getting hit.

I prefer speedy kills
Having the Deathworm burrow into the ground every other second isn't speedy, as it renders them immune to damage.
So, I tank it, and force-feed all the meat I get off of it afterword.

Fair enough. My Lightning kills it in about 20 seconds standing on the ground and backing up as it emerges.
