Scorched Earth: Adobe structures - Worth it or not?

I see that they have better insulation from the environment but what is it's health/defense like? Is it considered a wood structure? Stone? Mostly worried about things being able to damage it, thanks

The health/defense is kind of terrible on Adobe, but you need it to survive through harsh weathers. Just build a adobe base and put an outer layer of metal, and more fences.. Turrets are essentials of course

Edit: I thibk adobe is considered stone

weaker than stone i believe. So basically adobe is only really useful for appealing base builds and insulation.

Adobe was done to force everyone into buildings that can be easily raided and demolished. It's one of many features that were hamfisted in. If you build a structure out of wood stone or metal it will kill you, but you can build adobe then metal or stone around the adobe and get the best of both.

We did a test with a small adobe house and a cluster grenade, only the foundations remained, and the cluster grenades are given for free in drops.

isn't like everything free ion drops. I mean I even found a apperantice Guilly suit in it

If you look up a guy called Timmy Carbine on you tube he has done a really good set of tips and does an insulation and health comparison for all the building materials.
