Character Question For Scorched Earth

I only play single player and if I get the dlc will I have to create a new character when I load it? I don't want to take the chance of losing my base and dinos on the main map I play on when teleporting back to it with new dinos. In the forums players are reporting their original character was deleted.

That's a problem.
To go to the new map in single player u need to upload ur char then swap it to the new map,
Doing this deletes ur char from the old world.

Best choice is start a new char on scorched earth and use admin controls to boost him to where ur main char is up to xp wise,
Then when ur done with se use admin controls to spawn all the items you earnt and dinos into the normal map and admin controls to tame and all.

This way your still earning everything it's just over 2 chars.

what i would recomend is copying your charictor files Befor you transfur over your existing charictor Who has had a mindwipe. this is due to a lot of the dinos in the normal map are not in Scorched earth.

if you dont want to do that you can fallow my lead and make a new charictor for sorched earth and then Transfer over the dinos you like in that expac to the normal map. though at this moment sorched earth is probbly going to be my home.

my rates are the same as when i was on the other map. 3x exp 3x gather x6 tame the exp and gather rates im going to drop back down when i get to a level i feel i no longer need them 40ish.
