Meat spoiler time. Is there a way to increase this?
I have googled this, updated the ini files. NOTHING seems to work. Are there any server owners who have this working and help me out? Thank you

From the wiki it is saying GlobalSpoilingTimeMultiplier As of patch 196.0 there is still a bug whereby items moved to the player's inventory have their spoilage times reset to normal (value 1.0) despite what this value is set at. Thing is even on the dino it doesnt seem to have increased.

Is this still a bug and we are doomed to deal with it? I want my meat to spoil slower because we have requests and on the desert it seems to spoil faster.

There is the swap inventory bug... if you transfer items the spoil times is halved... not reset. Useful to make narco but annoying

Yeah that is what i got from the wiki but it doesnt seem to even work when the dino first eats the prey and the meat is in its inventory before the transfer. I might be doing it wrong but if the bug is preventing it from working in general then I guess there is nothing I can do

Yeah I know this. I put it in game.ini with the [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] header. Ive also tried it just in the gameusersetting.ini to see if maybe it would work with the rest of the modifier. No bueno

I am using host havoc so they have a configuration panel for other settings such as taming, xp and such. From what ive read on the wiki it stated to add below to the blank game.ini file.

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
GlobalSpoilingTimeMultiplier=2.0

Ah, best thing to do is actually edit the .ini manually. I kept running into trouble with settings not taking using the panel.

that's a good point. my game.ini is here D:\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer and I launch the game located here D:\ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 with a batch file that looks like this

start ShooterGameServer.exe "TheCenter?QueryPort=27015?GameModIds=487516323,618916953,656525905,698779870,699984901,668239751,558079412?MaxPlayers=80?listen" -EnableIdlePlayerKick -noantispeedhack -nofishloot
exit

edit:ohhhhhhh well if you're not hosting it that's a bit different.

Question. Did you stop your server before making the adjustment in the Game.ini? The change won't take effect otherwise.

You can also drop meat from an inventory to reset the timer so it keeps the longer spoilage timer instead of directly transfering from say, your dino to you.
