[HUGE ISSUE]Character seems to have been deleted during transfer from scorched earth to island (official)

lvl 98 character is lost at the moment. Used the join w/survivor feature at green obelisk on scorched earth to go back to my base on theisland and feed stuff. It loaded my character onto the server, showed me my beds I could spawn at, I picked one and selected, spawn at bed. It then froze a little and brought me to the character creation screen. I've tried loggin in and out of both the scorched earth and island servers multiple times. I dont want to make a new survivor on either of them in fear of losing my character permanently. Although, that may be what has happened already :(.

Some help would be appreciated, I do know this is an early access game, but I have serious time in this game, to lose it all to a bug of a dlc just released would be terrible.

I opened up a ticket on their site but this is crazy bad. I've been a huge supporter of this company and game even supporting them for charging for this DLC. This is not ok. I have a base on my home server that players will demolish in the next few days because I've spend so much time on Scorched Earth.

I don't have it in me to lvl up another guy to 77. This will be a deal breaker for me.

Exactly the same happened here.

Ticket had been opened, but only received an autoreply so far.

The problem must solved pretty fast - it took ages to build up bases and breed extreme high levelled dinos. Everything will be destroyed or taken away, if I cannot return to the main base very soon.

Same happened to me this morning. I opened a ticket and I haven't gotten any kind of response yet. My was lvl 92 with almost 2000 hrs played.

Being familliar with programing and video games, the first thing i thougth when i saw the patch notes, were the chances of a bug deleting characters...Unfortunately, most players are not aware of this :(

I hope we get our characters back too. Seems like if it affects enough people (whichever # that would be) they would be pushed into fixing it or restoring players. I logged in to my home server, all my stuff is still there, but its personal owned by the character that was lost.

check your download character tab on both SE and the Island from the character creation screen. Launch and re-launch the game several times if u dont see anything there. U might get lucky and find him on one of the re-launches, some people were able to do it that way.

Meanwhile mine is still missing, been waiting on support for 5 days with no reply.

Same thing happened to me and a lot of other people, put in a Ticket, the file is gone bud, The Devs are aware of the situation but havent said anything about it, spoke with some GM's the other day about it, still waiting on a fix

Wildcard really needs to notify people about this glitch, as you are buying a DLC to potentially loose your character through a Bug. I belive this glitch happens when a server you are moving to is saving for a few seconds, if that happens, it will not move your file to the next server, you pause (as you stated) for a few longer seconds and cant find the file so you end up getting the make a new character screen, your file ends up not saving with the server but it is gone from the server you started from.

Why don't you have time? You had time to play him in the first place right? So just start over if all else fails.

Because we play such a bugged ♥♥♥♥ no desire. As players more like 2000, playing for hours. Only n ♥♥♥♥ PAID ADDON rausbringen and then have no solutions. or not even respond strikes it is hushed again.

Until the people who were upset about not laid eggs of dinos.
And then remember it is char away, is by any ♥♥♥♥ off!
un dist clocks when so people like me playing alone, you come to nothing ran by itself.

This is still the one running away the time.

You can play as patching broken, so run off the one player.

Exactly this is a really worse part ... they definitely know - but they don't have the guts to do any statement on that.

They even stated in an interview that they wanted this DLC out to 'Test the cross ARK transfer ability', so we paid to test a broken feature. LOL... anyone that can't laugh at themself after being tricked into paying to test a DLC is taking themselves way to seriously.
