Why can you make the flamethrower at a fabricator, but the ammo at a chem bench?

This doesn't make sense to me. You learn the flamethrower at level 50? 60? Whatever it is, and the flamethrower fuel at the same level, but why does the fuel, take the chem bench to make, which takes level 85? I don't get it, might as well make the flamethrower and the fuel at the chem bench, it just doesn't make sense.

+1 You can learn the flamethrower and ammo at 55, it should be 85 to match the chemistry bench requirement

Probably because flamethrower fuel would be a liquid chemical product. That would mean it should be made in a chemistry setting and not in a physical hardware fabricator.

It may suck that they aren't both available at the same time, which I agree with. But it makes sense that they aren't made in the same machine.

Have to agree, making propellant require some chemical skills, which suits perfectly the chemistry bench.

Also it gives some purpose to the chemistry bench, because it's very expensive to craft. It's way faster than a mortar and pestle, but considering the crafting cost of 10 m&p, some people won't craft the chemistry bench.

Kinda true. A primitive one, sure. A ramshackle (considering the fact that it's very powerful, you can tear through titanboa and onyc easily) can lasts you for quite a bit since you use it for a few seconds.

Well, if you're solo, it's a bummer, but if you have a Tribe you may well have access to a Chem Bench before level 85.

Needing the Chem bench for the fuel makes since. Must have been an oversight that you can not make the fuel before 85. Give them time I am sure it will get sorted.
