Best locations to search for obsidian on Scorched Earth?

I've rarely seen any nodes in one area, is there any particular good spot, given that this dlc is still new.

I saw some nodes in a cavern beneath a temple in the desert to the south east corner, but it's exceptionally dangerous down there. Rock giants, scorpions, milipedes, bats, and mantis to name a few - And that's not even counting the massive pit falls.

It would almost be safer to go hunting for rock giants and mine it straight from them. But not by much.

I found a bunch in the mountains near the blue obelisk, but I haven't really done much looking outside of that. There's a ton of crystal up there, too.

north eastern mountains have quite a bit... there's a tunnel I found... I'll find the co-ords
thats full of crystal obsid and metal.
