Is it possible to raise a wyvern without milk?
This is what the wiki says is it true or a troll.

The babies can be fed raw meat like any other carnivore. Stat imprinting requires Wyvern Milk (Scorched Earth).png Wyvern Milk. The Wyvern Milk is obtained by knocking out or killing a female Wyvern or Alpha and removing it from their inventory.

Guess the wiki is trolling then and with the new update this is will be almost impossible for solo players.

Build a giant cage and fly a wild female into it. Knock it out take the milk and force feed it meat to get its health back up. Use salts to preserve the milk and when you need more milk knock the female out again and take its milk.

I thought knocking out the female two times does not work. No milk in it the second time?

It is probably on a cool down. I'm going by what my friend is telling me. I plan on building a cage my self and if it works I plan on adding the info to the wiki.

I could see some justification in the default settings if certain resources such as Leech Blood/Lesser Antidote and Wyvern Milk could be stockpiled in a Refrigerator, otherwise these resources are way too grindy to obtain, though Preserving Salt was a nice addition.

So... Are you sure about this? If one doesn't care about the imprinting could you get it to juvenile without milk?

I have raised both a lvl 128/128 lightning and 100/90 fire and can say these:

1# milk is the only way to feed them until they become adults anyone saying anything else must be refering to the bug before they patched it.

2# You can only collect milk from females once thus after getting milk from them it's best to just kill them.

3# The alpha wyverns give 50 milk bottles if you kill them making them a good source be warned a lvl 1 alpha took 52 headshots from a sniper.

4# Milk does not stack "tho sometimes a bug causes it to stack in ur mounts inventory".

5# you can place milk in ur mounts inventory with salts get back to base and place it in a perserving bin with salts to make it last multiple feedings.

Also after using my wyverns for an hour i can honestly say....the controls are so terrible i cant stand using them unless on the ground or long distance flying.

How deep did you dig to do that necromancy stuff?

Can confirm that previously milked wyverns do respawn milk in inventory, but takes an hour. Problem is, you can't leave the wyvern (go out of load range) or it will despawn almost immediatly.

The wiki is not trolling. Currently taming one now with just meat.
