Schorched Earth - Wood Farming Dino
I need to gather a lot of wood and I can't find a dino that's really good at farming wood in the new ARK DLC - Schorched Earth - does anyone know a dino that's very good at farming wood? I mean wood primarly, not like a Morelattops (Which is basically like a Trike, farms a LOT of Thatch but not that much wood).

thorny lizard is kinda like the beaver when it comes to gathering wood, just hit actuall trees since they wont gather from the cactus ones D:

forgot to mention, mantis can also harvest wood if you equip them with an axe.

there is patches of shrubbery that will yield a good chunck of wood with the camel. Other then that thorny lizard.

They are not as good as beavers but have the same weight reduction. Around 500% attack thay get it pretty quick, but it looks like i will be pushing tword 1K. I can't find anything that gets berrys well, the cow and the anky get it, but not as well as steggo or bronto, but both get tons of cactus sap from those plants so i guess that what the focus is anyway.

@Faultierstein @Kevin The best for berries in my opinion is Megatherium -- for 3 reasons but not because it gets more berries (it probably gets the same as the morraltops)
(1) it also gathers fibre (super quick) which we need for adobe
(2) it is not considered prey to a lot of thing that attack moraltops (I tested this on a terror bird, basicaly walked right on top of it and was annoying as possible with out attacking and the terrorbird did nothing)
(3) since it is meat eater it will gather after it attacks a predator unlike the moraltops where you need to dismount
So basically this creepy bear lookin thing (he peeks over most walls and stares at you) is my new favourite for almost everything.
(bonus reason) super badoss in combat
FYI - there is no cactus where I am right now so I don't know for sure if it gathers from those

I just got here by googling. People's obsession with necros is a problem, because it completely ignores people who get to a thread years later. Additional or updated information on an old issue should be welcomed, not discouraged.

And, yes, this is another necro. It's an educational one that has to be done sometimes in order to combat anti-necro culture.
