S.E. : best way to grind Paste?
Won't get the chance to play for a few weeks; but personally very excited.

From the looks of it, cement paste would be my biggest concern to grind, as I've gotten quite spoiled by frogs and beaver dams.. I still recall the days before them, and how much of a chore it would be to farm paste.

Is this a concern in the expansion? Or am I jumping to conclusions? Seems enough bug types around (from the videos I've watched) that it's back to the mass chitin farming for paste? I assume they all drop chitin?

All the bugs give chitin yes. And stone is abundant. So will cement paste be hard to get? No. Will it still take A LOT to make a huge metal base? You bet.

Polymer on the other hand... and Crystal... These will be problematic.

I had seen a video with a cave that had an abundant amount of crystal; and a handful of large nodes on some high mountains.

But semi sparse on the obsidian front , from what I saw.

Lots of stone to go around and lots of keratin and chitin as Scorpions are common and Thorny Dragons also give somewhat decent amount of keratin. It'll take longer than beaver dam and frog days but it's not so bad.. As for other things, Obsidians seemed to be hard to come by in compareson, and so is oil until you find an oil vein
