I don't think that you can get plant X on Scorched Earth, but instead there is a now a plant Y. I'd imagine that you can take some plant Y back to the Center/Island map should you choose to travel back there and then have access to both.

I think its just dino and character transfer not items. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I am pretty certain Plant Species X is exclusive to the swamps, while the new Plant Species Y is available in Scorched Earth, but both can technically be available to the same Survivor with cross ARK transfer.
