Places to get rare materials on Scorched Earth?

Where are the crystals, pearls, and other rare materials located? I've been searching all over for crystals and can't find a single one.

maybe you dont find all the materials there so there may be a need to travel back and forth and establish logistics.

Possibly, but there are severs which ONLY have Scorched Earth, and have no way to head back to any other maps. There has to be locations for at least the essential items like pearls and crystals.

I was able to find pearls lying around in the stream beds and shallow lakes. They come in smaller versions of the oysters on the vanilla map, which have a tan skin which makes them blend in.

I found crystals on top of the mountains. Be careful though, lots of thorny dragons, sabres, scorpions, rock elementals and carnos up there too. I'm looking for mushrooms to tame a kangaroo myself. Hit me up if you guys find any that aren't in crystal nodes

Surpur and Crystals are in the mountain just to the east of huge canyon in the center north, and if you go further east into the North East Badland there are oil veins and metals. For pearls they seemed to be mostly along the south in the river, they spawn in clusters so you should be able to find them relative ease.

There is a cave near the Red Obelisk full of Crystals and Obsidian. And there are no mob spawns in there. But there are baddies at either entrance.

i do not think the rare flower is on the Scorched Earth map. i have picked just about all of the plants you can.

The patch that just came out adds rare flowers and mushroom to the purplish flower thing

So far, as far as I have explored on the surface, there seems to be only one "mountain" with lots of the high yeild metal nodes. It's a giant fin looking rock formation with the high value metal nodes all the way around it. Like someone mentioned, pearls from the river bed in clusters that look like flat rocks.

Pearls are found in some ravines/around lakebeds and whatnot, like stated above they have tan coloration and can be difficult to distinguish from normal rocks- though they do glimmer, so look for that.
Rare flowers and rare mushrooms can be picked from the purple flowers and small white flowers.
I've personally found some small bits of crystal around the red obelisk, though the area around it is dangerous. You can also find them on mountains, which are also dangerous. Keep a spyglass on you and check
every
single
rock.

Rare flowers are back in the mix after recent update. Metal and crystal are in the mountain areas mainly. that one cave close to the red obelisk is packed with them,and with a small crevice which can make a really nice base,or mini resource base. (i would claim the whole cave,but thats me) Thanks for the Pearl suggestions guys. Always struggled to find them,and ended up making the one guy on our tribe that seems to just find them by chance =P

When checking out the Oil spots (green obelisk area) it seemed to make sense to make a metal camp there aswell, as the general yeild of metal around there is more than the smalled high density spots. Any suggestions for really good metal farming please???

Would anyone have a good recommendation for coordinates to a large supply of the purple flowers on Scorched Earth for the rare flowers? I am finding lots of blue flowers near wher I set up my hut but none of the purple flowers as yet.
