Exclusive Server?

Hey guys.. I'm using Ark Server Manager mod and wanted to host the expansion pack.. I load it up, update it, do everything I normally do.. The server runs but when I try to join it.. It gives me "This is an exclusive Server"

I am running the server but it wont let me in.. Any ideas or help would be appreciated..

Yes, just bought before I did all of that.. Most definitely..

I'm having this same problem. I played this expansion earlier on an official server and I tried to host my own. I used the same command line for my regular server but changed the map to ScorchedEarth_P

Ah okay.. So basically two different ways but same result.. The manager uses the bat file method as well, just a more simple version I think.. I dunno.. Hope this will be fixed.. Tried everything and nothing is working to fix this..

It has a nifty button. We click the button and it automatically updates everything correctly for us. Then click another button and it launches with all the options. Im having the same issue using the .bat server method. SO i took your advise and got ark server manager.....same issue. This is an exclusive server.


OP are you luanching this from a seperate HDD or SDD than your steam progam files are located on by chance? That is the only thing i have done different than my other 4 servers i run and this is the only one that i cant play

No, I've used the program from my current and I've never had this issue before.. But I did notice where it said mod or map location.. There are two buttons to the left stating to refresh to the island and the other to refresh to center.. The program might not be updated for this update yet at all.. I've exhausted every thing I could think of..

Though that wouldn't explain why YOU have an issue with the .bat method.. I am trully stumped.. haha!

Thank you for suggesting this method. I used ASM and have successfully created 2 serves, one for the center and one for scorched earth. I was able to get into the scorched earth server this way after a few attempts (getting timout errors). I have not tried seeing if my friends can join yet but so far so good. Thank you :D

Thank you for suggesting this method. I used ASM and have successfully created 2 serves, one for the center and one for scorched earth. I was able to get into the scorched earth server this way after a few attempts (getting timout errors). I have not tried seeing if my friends can join yet but so far so good. Thank you :D

Yes i did. I used the exact same settings for my The Center server but saved in a different location and in the map name used ScorchedEarth_P. I ran the server and I was able to connect. It took me a few attempts as i kept getting timed out errors but i kept trying and i was able to join. My game (and therfore dlc) is saved in my D: drive and when using the Bat file method the server was running from the C: drive. My ASM is running from the D: drive now aswell so im not sure if that has any effect. I have still not tried getting friends to join scorched earth but The center server is working for us.

So in short i am able to join my scorched earth server without the exclusive server error but am still to test if my friends can join it, but as the settings are the same as my other server i would assume so.
