Can't seem to get my Jerboa off my shoulder?

I found it kinda weird but I tamed a Jerboa, I adore the little fox-squirrels, and I can't get her off my shoulder xD I double tapped E in hopes that she'd jump off like the Mesos or Dimorphs do but it seems she is refusing my order to get off!
