Scorched earth won't install :/

So I just bought SE and it shows as purchased in the dlc section on ark library page but its not installed and whenever I try to go into a SE server it brings me back to the store page. Anyone know how to fix this? or force the game to install?

Try exiting out steam and restarting it. That's how I've had to get some other of the official mods to install.

Go to the DLC section in your library and uncheck the box by it. Then close Steam and then restart Steam and put the check back in the box and it should start downloading.

I wish it didn't install on mine because I have no plans purchasing it so it's taking up space/bandwidth!

I can't install mine either it says 1.5 GB / 1.5 GB and gets stuck there

Same Problem here, it gets stuck at 1.4/1.4 then it just keeps downloading at a really low speed

Having the same issue as @EnderGalaxy123 and @OFugzToGiv. And what's so messed up is that I had SE working perfectly before the last major update happened. My game files got corrupted so I had DL the entire game again and now I have this issue. Please post a fix if you manage to find one. Thanks

For some reason when i stopped the download and tryed playing normally, scorch menu came and i played The Island all Scorch engrams are there but i cant play the map

SE remove is best.
SE Stand alone best.

All of SE content is already in the game (spawnable in singleplayer, and people will usually be nice enough to get/gift SE dinos for you in multiplayer officals for free, or atleast the eggs), the map is all you download when you buy SE.

For the people who have ark stuck downloading, try 2 things, Change the download region (steam - settings - downloads) or just pause, wait 20 min and resume over and over. This has happened before and I think its more to do with steam. These methods only work for some though...
