They said not all dinos are in it. Only the ones that fit the region.
I don't know how tames work, but there are a bunch of different dinos with a few of the stock.
Never heard of a desert fox or wolves?.
Well i saw in the livestream a dark colour coat wolf so i assume they are trying to mimic desert wolves

Which is funny because Rexes spawn on scorched earth, I have a tamed one and Im killing a bunch around my base. Havent seen any over level 70 though
The idea is to travel between the ARKS to get the stuff you need. You should rahter playit as if it were a map extension not standalone.
