Install Scorched earth

How do you install and switch to the scorched earth map server side? I ran the steam update and tried changing the map name to scorched earth, but that didnt work.

I think i have the same problem, i cant even get it to install so i can play single player. Keeps sending me back to the purchase page.

did you buy scorched earth DLC ? you need it to use scorched earth

You have to buy the DLC.

ive paid for the dlc yet it wont download

Go to Ark in your Steam Library. If you see Scorched Earth listed in the DLC area as bought but not installed, uncheck the checkbox next to it and then click to make it checked again. A download should start. See if that works.

Per the developer, you do not need to own the Scorched Earth DLC to run a dedicated server for it.

@JURKO go to your libary and look at ARK, then scroll past acheivments and you will see a box called DLC, if you look along that you should see aquired then under that there should be tick boxes of all the DLCs etc. then just look for scorched earth.
