ForceAllowCaveFliers wont work on Fjordur

I use Apex Hosting service to run an ark server and wanted to allow fliers in caves to make things easier for me and my friends. But, even when I pasted ForceAllowCaveFliers=True into the config files, I still wasn't able to fly. Anyone know why that is or how to fix it?

Worse than that, we can't fly in Asgard, Jotunheim or Vanahaeim either, even though they are distinctly Not Caves, and the settings don't work to fix it. Is there a mod to let us fly in the other realms?

Oooh, hey, I found it. The setting in the game launch menu, server menus, etc, doesn't work for this; that just allows them to enter caves, doesn't allow you to ride them. What you need to do:

-Find ARK in your STEAM library.
-Right click
-Click 'properties'
-At the bottom of 'properties' is a text box labeled 'Launch Options'. In this box type:
"-ForceAllowCaveFlyers" (without the quotes of course.) This allowed me to ride flyers in Asgard, so it'll probably allow it in caves too.

Typo... It's "ForceAllowCaveFlyers" not "fliers". As Nameless mentioned above its a command line argument not a config file entry. This is mentioned on the config wiki page.

yeah that really seems to be the only thing that works... was able to take a flyer to the cave of portals and thus to asgard (in the single game where the checkbox didn't work)... thanks for the tip :)

Hahaha my bad, but I spelled it right in the config files, but I copied it down wrong here.

the only non config way is to use Desmoda it can fly in all caves.
