Issues Taming Andrewsarchus
I'm not sure if it's how it's supposed to be or what but while taming high level andrewsarchus I'm running into several issues.
1. Unable to get back on after dismounting during taming
2. The taming meter drops significantly after I've been off for maybe 5 sec
3. Taming meter constantly shifts up and down while mounted i.e 53.5% > 55% > 54.2% > 54.8% etc
I didn't have any of these issues when I was taming a level 60 but any time I tried to go for one of the 135-150 I ran into all of these issues

Based on what you're saying it sounds like you're somewhat not following the proper taming procedure?

I don't see anything at the link about how to tame it. I mean, speculation but not an actual 'how to' guide. Is it like horse taming but with honey instead of rockarrots?

Huh? its literally near the top of the page. Here's a quick copy paste:

Taming Calculator Passive
To tame an Andrewsarchus: 1. Wear a Ghille suit. 2. Put Giant Bee Honey on your hotbar and use it to throw the honey onto the ground. 3. While it eats, approach and and mount it. 4. Steer left and right as indicated by the arrows. 5. You will then be thrown off of the Andrewsarchus. Repeat. Note that the number of required honey varies depending on how perfect you steer the Andrewsarchus. Dododex's calculations are based on a number of real in-game tests. To help improve these calculations, use the 'Report Data Error' button and provide the % taming increase after ONE ride.

Basically from the op's initial description, it looks like they didnt repeat the required steps after being thrown off the first time.

Yes, you get on it while it is distracted by the honey, ride it until it bucks you off. Depending on the level of it, it may always buck you off, lol. And I guess depending on your server settings, lol. A level 110 on my server with 5x taming ended up getting me off twice, and that was with the perfect keystrokes, we just got stuck on some trees he didn't like. You get out of his sight before he turns around. once he is no longer aggro'd, throw more honey at him, get back on him, rinse/repeat.

When I was bucked off, I didn't pay too much attention to how much taming went down in between riding sessions, I know it went up a lot more when I was on it than it went down when I was off him. Next time I will try to pay more attention.

If you jump off before the red bar is 100%, it seems like he will not aggro (rage bar) and you can repeat the taming faster.

This literally appears nowhere on the page when I follow the link. Weird things afoot at Dododex!

Yeah sorry but that's too strange unless you're using some sort of strange browser or browser settings or have color issues. Its a shade different in color(not white) than the background's color.

The its in the section btween the headings of:

Taming Calculator Passive

(taming instructions here)

(Honey Icon) Giant Bee Honey

Again this is near the top quarter of the page...

I threw the honey, hopped on once he ate it, hopped off before the red bar got full, fed again hopped on, and then I've had the issues

I checked in Chrome & was able to see it. It does not appear for me in Mozilla. The first header in Mozilla is 'Stats'.

Since it is, literally, right at the top of the page in Chrome, perhaps give some credit to someone you don't know & not assume they're completely blind next time? I figured something odd was up, which it was.

To anyone else having issues seeing this - try another browser.

Plain and simple, the tame is not worth it.
