Alternate try to get the carno only to run off the cliff before trapping your Yuty. This could be really difficult but if you are careful it is doable. If you have a friend to help even better you can divide and conquer the task.
Listen to the "trap klebs".
Two major reasons,
when it's get about halfway to 2/3rds knocked out, it's going to turn and start running away. Unless you want to chase it as it runs around like a headless chicken, leading you into whole groups of hostile dino's, You WANT to trap it first inside walls, so it can run around like that. I use either behemoth gates, or dinosaur gates to build a box around them. You can use a flier to lure them through the gates, then add a gate to close it in.
Secondly, is when it collapses, your gates will keep random hostile dinos from running up and attacking it while it's knocked out, and destroying the taming effectiveness. When they collapse and body parts stick out past the gates, I add more dinosaur gates around those body parts to protect it. Taming effectiveness being kept as high as possible is the whole point. Otherwise you're just throwing away bonus levels.
