Thats procedurally generated maps which will not effect the current, normal maps of The Island, The Center, or Scorched Earth.
Its an entire map randomly generated, not an extension or modification of current maps, just FYI.
The loot crates, am I assuming right that those high numbers for the longitude value indicate it's the deep sea loot crates? Are those the same pool like the crates on volcano?
And if you know about the mechanics behind the loot crates, can you also tell me about background mechanics of airdrops? Like how many there are at any given time, etc.?
Just do some googling and reading and you'll get all the info you need.

I'm blocking all spawns but 2, as there are always 2 loot crates spawning simultaneously (however there is a reported glitch that only 1 spawns on The Island -map for a while now).
You need to be level 80 or above to reach the crates.
All beacons appear at fixed locations, and can have 3 or 4 colors for each location. There is a map of all beacon locations and what colors each location can spawn for The Island map, but I haven't found one yet for The Center -map.
