Imprint transfer

If i were to imprint on a baby then do a few of the imprints and then unclaim it and let someone else raise it for a bit then have them give it back to me would i be able to continue imprinting it and if i can will i also retain the riding bonus as well? or no? Or would it just be better to let the other person imprint the whole time and get the 20% bonus.

Only the one who initially claimed it nobody else.
Unclaiming/claiming later does nothing.
Whoever claimed it first is stuck with imprinting ...

i never tried to breed since the imprinting came out. i still have to find out all about this.

Okay so i would continue to imprint after getting it back and still get the riding bonus or no riding bonus after I get it back

Can't say for sure, but since imrpinting is tied to character ID, I'd assume you would get the bonus.

I think the imprinting will stop when you unclaim it and you won't be able to imprint anymore after reclaiming it. But I do not know this for a fact. If you try it, report back and let us know what happens.

you can allow other playes in your tribe to imprint yes there is a setting allowanyonecuddle

Only allows tribe members to imprint and you do not unclaim them!
