"Latest Ark Server Manager is 1.0.252
Installers
Windows Setup: Latest.zip (Preferred) - Download, unzip and run Ark Server Manager.exe.
Previous versions:
You can download older versions of the ASM (back to 1.0.0.125) by making a link to arkservermanager.s3.amazonaws.com/release/ArkServerManager_<version>.zip."
I click the latest.zip(preferred) and it brings me to a peculiar link( http://redirect.viglink.com/?key=bbb516d91daee20498798694a42dd559&u=https%3A/arkservermanager.s3.amazonaws.com/release/latest.zip ) and gives me the error
"Hmm, we can't reach this page.
Try this
Make sure you’ve got the right web address: http://redirect.viglink.com
Refresh the page
Search for what you want"
I am using Microsoft Edge but get equally unapealing results with Google Chrome:
"This site can’t be reached
redirect.viglink.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"
It's the second address in that redirect link string you posted. ^_^
Also, try not to use Edge too much. It's not a very good browser.
Try Firefox or Chromium/Chrome or Vivaldi or one of the many other alternatives instead.
better not to. ASM has a large delay between major patches, during which your server will not function properly.
Make sure you keep backups on your own system of you .ini's (wich you probably do... im just sayin) :)
Also i use filezilla to edit server files. Hosthavoc doesnt let you edit the default.ini's on the control panel so you have to download them edit and upload (after deleting the original)
WRONG! Servers continue to run just fine as long as you don't change the configuration. I've always run servers even a month behind on ASM patches. All ASM does is just provide a GUI clickable front end for the configuration and start-stop the server, that's all. It doesn't really matter how in or out of date it is. All servers managed by it will continue working even if it's not current.
