I am planning to make an ark village.

I want to make an ark village. I plan for it to be on the island. It will be a floating village on water. It will mainly be made out of wood, thatch, and very little stone. I want to make shops and have homes that look the same. I plan to have a admin room for the owners and the rest will be people having there own homes. Keep in mind that is will be on a offical server! I am Planing to build on NA-PVE-Island-48. So I want to get a few of people to get reasources. I plan to build the whole thing. I will be getting reasources along with other people and then I will build it. I will build it because I know how I want it to look. I plan to tame 1-2 Therinzenos so we can farm the reasources for wood things. If you have any questions, Please add me as a friend on steam and DM me. Have fun! Question for you though. How are you going to handle having non-tribe players live there, when all the buildings will be owned by you? they won't be able to place anything in their homes. Beds, M&P, etc.

Also, how are you going to handle clipping through the ground and drowning all the time? Its a serious problem for water based bases.

You and anyone that plays on your server better have a monster rig to handle all the structure lag. It is going to eat through your resources and leave you feeling like you are playing on an atari.

I was thinking of adding metal spikes next to the pillars.
