Aberration is amazing in my opinion, lots of places to explore. But the amount of creatures you can tame for such a big map is terrible. You'll get bored quick if your in it for the animals. But I think they've added a couple since I've played that map.
The center is buggy. And honesty my least favorite. But if you can get over the bugs, it's a great map for flying mounts.
Ragnarok is probably the most beautiful map yet. Every biome and all the creatures from normal, scorched earth, and the mighty griffin. But it's HUGE! Expect travel time to be a pain.
Scorched earth is pretty fun if your looking for a fast and dangerous map. But you'll lose interest quickly as there are not a lot of creatures to tame and the map is rather small.
So if you aren't focused on story and would like to just build, harvest, and tame then Rag is the best out of all.
Been thinking about getting the season pass for a while now anyway.
