Can I use 2 chocolate cakes to tame 100%?

I know that the Velentines Event says that a single choclate cake will bring taming up 50% instantly. What if I have 2 and give two to a taming animal?

The 2nd will be wasted. The effect only works once per tame.

The second can't even been eaten\used. There is a 3hr cool down on the chocolate cake, so unless the tame takes over 3 hrs....and even then it does nothing
